During the design of our various multifamily projects we find that most general occupancy project residents prefer individual access to their units, resulting in building plans that are single family, duplex and quad- or eight-plex dwelling structures. Conversely, elderly residents of all income levels prefer the added security of interior access to their dwellings if congregate activities and facilities are provided for them.
